Designed and built to support classroom instruction and independent student research in the Chicago Public Schools, the eCUIP Digital Library provides CPS teachers and students access to high-quality, web-based educational resources via an easy-to-use web site.  The digital library is freely accessible from any internet-capable computer.  

Digital Library resources include:

  • Original content created or digitized by University of Chicago scholars and professionals in collaboration with CPS educators.
  • Subscription databases with content and interface designed specifically for use by student learners provided by CPS Department of Libraries and Information Services.
  • Subscription-based content donated by the University of Chicago Library.
  • Links to free, educational web sites that are easy to use and appropriate for student learners.
